Business Challenge
Running a retail store requires hours of painstaking inventory and accounting work. With a small staff, keeping track of receipts and pouring over inventory logs takes valuable time away from creating a quality product and maintaining customer care. When Restoration & Originals wanted to implement a solution that would automate the accounting and inventory procedure, North Shore Network responded with a plan that would simplify the way they did business.

The Solution
North Shore Network's plan included implementing a Point of Sale (POS) solution that would integrate the cash register and credit card machine with a computer system that would track sales and outgoing inventory. While this solution significantly improved their business practice, it did not include learning a foreign cash register system. The cash out procedure remained the same, while the back end system provided new reporting features that would save time each day as well as lower costs associated with their accountant's time.

For this project, North Shore Network:

• Implemented store-wide computer network
• Set-up communications between cash register, credit card machine and accounting software
• Installed and configured accounting software
