Are
you at risk?
Every organization is at risk for losing or damaging
its assets. An asset could be anything from a piece
of fine art on your wall to the intellectual property
sitting on your servers. If you do not have proper security
policies and auditing procedures in place, then you
are at risk of losing your assets to theft, hackers,
viruses or catastrophic events such as a flood or fire.
We
provide comprehensive security services that will protect
your valuable assets. If you do not have any policies
in place, we will lead you through an intensive security
assessment, design and implementation process. If you
already have an existing security plan, we will put
it through a rigorous test to ensure that it adequately
protects your assets.
Preventative
Maintenance
Let's start with the basics. Every organization should
have in place, at the minimum, a way to protect its
networks from intrusion. Not only is your information
at risk, but if your network is vulnerable to attack,
you could become a host site to a nasty virus or worm
and be liable for the damage your network causes other
organizations. If you already have a firewall and virus
protection in place, we will ensure that it is configured
properly. We will identify and build a back-up solution
for your data in the event of a system failure.

Network
Vulnerability Assessment
A network vulnerability assessment begins with an inventory
of your core assets, such as servers, computers, printers,
intellectual property, marketing databases, etc. We
will set out to answer the following questions:
- Which
assets are fundamental to running your business?
- How
do you protect them from loss or damage?
- How
would you recover those assets in the event of a complete
loss?
Penetration
Testing
Once we have identified your core assets and your current
methods of protecting them, we set out to validate the
safety of those core assets. We will determine where
your vulnerabilities exist and how they could be exploited.
Penetration testing will illustrate how the controls
on your network can be bypassed -- the evidence we gather
and present is often shocking to our audience.
Policy
Creation, Implementation and Auditing
A security policy is a formal statement that outlines
systems in place to protect your core assets. For example,
the acceptable use of equipment, access to systems from
within and outside of the company and backup procedures.
These policies are communicated to your entire company
and become self sustaining, ensuring that your assets
remain protected from vulnerabilities.
Once
the policies are in place, it is crucial to test them
on a regular basis to ensure that they provide the protection
that you need. We will work with you to establish a
plan for implementing and auditing your security policies.
Business
Continuity
A solid business continuity plan is vital for the survival
of your company in the event of a power outage, fire,
flood or other disaster. Even so, many organizations
do not have a plan, or they scrape by with a plan that
is out of date or otherwise inadequate. We will lead
you through a process to determine an implementation
and auditing plan that will keep your business running
in the face of a disaster.
Encryption/Public
Key Infrastructure (PKI)
If your company must send extremely sensitive data via
email and it is necessary to protect this data from
anyone who is not the intended audience, then we can
implement an encryption solution for you. We encourage
you to talk with us about how you can eliminate the
fear of "eavesdropping" by implementing a
combination of the following features:
- Secure
web sites (SSL)
- Digital
signatures
- Encrypted
email
